
Hi, I’m Laz Eade, it really is a genuine honour and a privilege to be able to provide this for you all, thank you so much.
So, who am I, and what’s this all about? Okay so I’m 59, and have been actively involved in physical fitness my entire life, ever since I was 10 years old running around the golf course at the back of our house with my brother chasing our Dad, I was hooked from the get go, and so ensued a lifelong passion and journey which has seen myself ever curious and inquisitive regarding the various different methodologies\philosophies regarding health, fitness and nutrition.
After surgery on my left shoulder (Rotator Cuff) at the age of 57 in February of 2022, on top of my first rotator cuff surgery in 2018 on my right shoulder, and numerous other sporting injuries I picked up in my youth, including a herniated disc, broken hand, knee surgery, etc etc, I was faced with the harsh reality of having to re-evaluate my approach to exercise and fitness.
So I went searching for knowledge regarding approaches to physical exercise regimes that tailored to\focused on people in my demographic…. #....Öld Dudes”, LOL, and unfortunately, there just wasn’t too much specifically customised to my personal set of circumstances. I started by asking everyone around me, and was quite astonished as to how common the demand and desire for this type of training was, and they all said the same thing, either (a) the program is targeted to young Instagram model looking 20/30-year-olds, or (b) they have you sitting in a chair doing stretches! And let’s not go down the rabbit hole of the endless BS sites that peddle outright rubbish, it’s all just so annoying and timewasting.
And if there is one thing, we don’t have truckloads of anymore, its time, so we need to act now, and as I highlighted on the home page, the science is irrefutable, if we want to enjoy our golden years and have the energy and strength to keep our independence, roll around on the floor with our grandchildren and stay out of the hospital for as long as we can, then we need to exercise and eat a healthy and wholefood diet.
The proven benefits of just a few hours exercise a week are truly amazing: It is unquestionably your best defence against Sarcopenia, Enhanced Muscle Strength and Flexibility, Improved Cardiovascular Health, Improvement to immune function, lung and heart health, Inflammation levels, Hypertension, Cholesterol, and amount of body fat, Lower risk of getting chronic diseases such as Cancer, Cardiovascular, Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Type 2 Diabetes and many more.
And so “Methuselah Mindset”, was born. Yes, there are multiple different workout programs that I have created and tested on myself that 100% deliver results, hopefully I’m living proof of that, but this is about so much more than that, we will delve deeply into the longevity science, philosophy, nutrition and the ever important Mind – Body connection and all that entails, and I am sincerely hoping that what we have put together for you here will open up amazing new doors into what is achievable if you just put in the time and effort.
