The 3 pillars of Longevity
Mindset . Exercise . Nutrition
All equally important, in saying that if I had to prioritize them, Mindset would be first with Exercise & Nutrition together a close second, because let’s face facts, if your head is not in the right space, where YOU sincerely and genuinely WANT to change, you’re just not going to.
Okay, reality check…., once you hit your Fifties your body literally starts to cease up, I'm sorry, it’s just a fact, the harsh reality is that if you don’t regularly\consistently make a disciplined effort to look after your body and make the time to exercise and fuel it with healthy food, in simple terms, it’s just not going to function that well and your quality of life will be greatly reduced. And unfortunately, you will AGE quicker and you are going to find it hard to even do the most simple\basic physical tasks that previously were ridiculously easy and you just took them for granted. Unfortunately, the worst and most scariest of facts, is that if you simply do nothing, you are inviting multiple diseases and sickness straight through your front door!
And hey look, it just doesn’t have to be that way, seriously. For most people, all they need to do is make a few small but important lifestyle changes, and they can look forward to a much improved and healthier pathway into their senior years.
The ironic thing nowadays is that there is quite simply too much, information out there, and regrettably a lot of it is just plain wrong, and in some cases quite harmful. A common complaint I here from people is that they in fact go through quite a stressful personal process to get to the place where they want to seriously make a lifestyle change and address their health issues, and then when they finally make the effort and start looking for resources to help them, they are bombarded with multiple conflicting philosophies and methodologies on how best to achieve this, and the unfortunate result being that they get so horribly overwhelmed and intimidated, that they end up doing nothing.
As I’ve said above, my goal is to provide you with a genuine, dependable and evidence-based information resource to assist you on this journey, and the team and I will work hard to deliver this, and to be clear, we won’t ever TELL you what to do, we will simply provide information and make suggestions that will hopefully steer you in the right direction and assist you, I see our role as being a safe place where you can find unbiased and helpful information. So welcome, by reading this I would hope that you have just taken the first step to a healthier future, well done you!
